Air traffic control centers generate a large amount of data, which must be archived to comply with statutory provisions. ASC provides a flexible archiving concept for a variety of media.
- Depending on regulations, calls can be stored and archived either continuously, selectively according to pre-defined rules, or on-demand.
- In addition to online storage on local hard disks, data can be archived on DVD, Iomega ® REV, USB stick or connected NAS/DAS systems.
- ASC also integrates with EMC² ® storage solutions and saves calls as .wav files for easy transmission by e-mail.
